Pancake Breakfast – Saturday, November 6th, 8:00-11:00 am in the MHS Cafeteria - Updated Information.New Date ! Due to a scheduling conflict, the Pancake breakfast has been moved to Nov. 6th. Thank you for your understanding about the situation. It’s time for our annual Pancake Breakfast!! When your band student left Tuesday evening rehearsal, he or she received an envelope containing information and 10 tickets for the pancake breakfast. The tickets sell for $5 each. $4 of the price of each ticket sold will be deposited into the student’s individual account to go toward the expenses of being in band or the spring trip! A parent will be at each Tuesday evening rehearsal to collect money and distribute additional tickets. The additional $1 from the ticket price will be used toward the costs of the breakfast (food, plates, etc.). Last year, we had donor sponsorship of all the materials necessary for the breakfast, but unfortunately this year we do not yet have it covered. The Booster board made the decision to split the ticket price- $4 to the student/$1 toward expenses- to make sure we have the funds necessary to cover the event costs. The committee is actively seeking sponsorships/donations of the items needed and have already received commitments from some area businesses to supply a portion of the materials. Please keep in mind- donations of materials are being requested from businesses – not from parents. When the pancake breakfast is over and the final expenses are paid, the remaining amount collected of the $1 from each ticket will be equally divided among the students who work a shift at the pancake breakfast.
